Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is well-known for his part in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. He discovered his love for acting from his days in school and then pursued acting studies at The University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in film and TV but his performances on small screens are what brought him much fame. The actor is able to portray characters of both the good and bad aspects of the legal system. He is able capture the audiences attention effortlessly. His first television show, he was a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the character of an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performance. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his piercing blue eyes that are regarded to be a trademark and helped in portraying rough characters with charisma. In 2006, he was featured in People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
