The singer released her debut single Here in the year 2015, when she was just 19 years old. It went down a storm and was praised by both listeners and critics alike. The single peaked at 19th at both Canadian Hot 100 as well as Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it among the best tracks of the year. She debuted her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third track, Scars to Your Beautiful was one of five songs that reached the top spots on Billboard as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as Billboard Hot 100. The parents of her gave her an instrument when she was just 10-years-old. It ignited her passion for music. She began to cover her favourite songs at age thirteen to show that world that she had the ability and confidence required to become a professional singer. Indeed one of the covers Sweater Weather eventually got her attention by a label known as EP Entertainment which allowed her to compose and record her own songs.
